Decision-making can sometimes be a hard task to complete. When making some decisions it may take you seconds or days. So to not make hasty decisions it is best to make sure you think your decisions out and make sure you are making the right decision. When it comes to that point in your life when you have to make a life changing decision, you should also consider the following: who will be affected by your decision, implementation of the commitment to the decision and different alternatives should be considered.

One of the most important decisions of my life was when I decided to go back to school. I had to take in consideration at the time, here I am a single mother of three and work a 8 to 5. My thoughts were how can I factor in going back to school and be a mother and work and achieving my lifelong goals. My goal in life is to become an HR Manager, and I realize that in order for me to become one I must go back to school and get my degree. So the first thing I did was look online at different College that would benefit my lifestyle as a working mom.

I had absolutely no clue there were so many out there that I could apply too that would actually work for me. So I had to make the decision of going online or to an actual campus. I realize how I could become distracted if I did online, so I decided I would prefer to go to a campus. My next decision was how many days could I actually go to school and not become overwhelmed. So I had to do more research to see if there was a university that maybe offered classes one evening a week.

I was so thankful at the fact there was which was the University of Phoenix which catered to parents with a lifestyle like mines. Finally I had to factor in a plan on how I was going to pay for my college tuition. In conclusion, I realized that there is a lot to consider when making decisions. One must not be so quick to make a decision without carefully asking yourself several questions and making sure you realize the affects that your decisions can possibly have on all that are involved if any.
